Well, usually, classical music or movie soundtracks do best. Lyrical songs are okay, but they are a little more difficult to sync to. So, I would suggest you build up a stock of movie and classical music. Just listen to it and listen for exciting melodies with Cymbal crashes, big crescendos and decrecendos, strong beats, and dramatic notes.

The best way I always found it easier for beginner's is Disney songs easy to work with once you can do that then you can move onto harder more challenging songs.

Well, it depends, if you find a song that will work by itself, you just use that song. Most of the time, however, you use a music editing software to mix different songs together. Like Sony Vegas, Windows Movie Maker, and Audacity.

well I wish you the best of luck on finding something for you next display look around there hundreds of thousands of movies out there, but the hard thing that going to come out of it is being able to edit the sound track, unless you had other previous experience with editing songs. :)

Yup, if you like mixing music then try out three different songs or so from movies or even Disney! Good luck!

That is a good bit of music but also hard for new show makers due to it's fast speed.

I was going to say "Download my Soundtrack Pack!" but then I realized you're still a pending member. I don't mean to rub it in your face - it's just a clever way of saying "work your way up to Full Member and reap the rewards!"

I'll post a good starting soundtrack, L&M, since you have come to us for assistance. It's hosted on FileFront, so feel free to download. I'll trust that you use this wisely - don't send it to other members!

There's two songs to choose from, both from the band "Pendulum." They are both 2:30 in length because I've shortened them to be easier to sync to, so take your pick of which one or do both! It's up to you.

Granite: Download D GE1.mp3
Showdown: Download D SE1.mp3
