I have recently found out that my posts are to nonconstructive. So i will be reading up or looking up proper postings.

In the mean time i shall just post only what is necessary. I will not post in the following until further notice.
List
  • Help Area
  • Pyro-Lounge
  • Games
  • RCT3
  • ShowSim
  • And more
  • Shout Box

To prevent me from being suspended or worse.

It seems that claudio believes i am bringing the forum down. So i shall be working on fixing up my posts and being more proper. I am very sorry Claudio, Brad, Kablary. for all my non constructive posts....

I terribly regret it.. I love this site with all my heart. And i can not just let myself just get banned.

I will also hope that this post is in the right place too. Otherwise mods please just move it. Thanks. I am terribly sorry for all my actions and i will take on all punishments.. Just please do not ban me. I can not live without this site by my side for gaming.

And if you must know.
I have ADHD and aspergers -- This does not excuse me to anything about my posts. It is worth nothing in this situation.

And i am pretty sure i mispelled aspergers so sorry for that too. I can not spell that word at all Not even my spell checker can fix it for some reason.

Quick edit I am also not posting in SB (Shout Box)

Everyone seems to be taking the new rule of making well formatted posts with correct spelling to heart, it's only you and new people here to spam that seem to be ignoring - intentionally or otherwise. I personally think ADHD is a load of bull, it seems more and more kids are "diagnosed" with it. I find a simple human need for attention, even excessively, to be a pretty stupid thing to make a psychiatric disorder of. Aperger's, well, I don't know much about that apart from what Wiki tells me. As you say, they don't excuse you. This isn't a playground, it's a forum, so the way you interact with people via your keyboard can't be put down to things like that.

It's unfortunate, it just seems like you're not fitting in. We all have limits to our patience and you push our buttons too easily. I mean, you say you're 15. My sister is the same age and she works, so I think that shows you just need to grow up. We seem to attract many children to this site, which is not inherently bad because many kids are mature (I mean, I was very young when I started too).

I think our issues can be solved quite easily:

1) READ a topic before you post in it.
2) STOP before you start typing, think about what you're going to say, think about it slowly and logically.
3) SPELLCHECK/GRAMMAR CHECK your post when you think you're done. Safari has grammar checks.
4) PROOFREAD your post. Read it back to yourself, aloud if you have to. Does it sound right? Are you using the correct words?

Other points: Keep emoticons and exclamations to a minimum. Only use them when absolutely needed.

This isn't your typical forum, this a forum which demands thoughtful posts and mature members.

I hope other people will be along here to give you advice. :)
Regards,

Brad

thanks brad.

But I still think I need to fix up my act here. So I will still limit myself. Aspergers is... well its a disorder where its a set schedule in your head after doing something for a long time. And when you break this little mini schedule. you have a melt down. (Freak out yelling screaming and stuff like that) but for me I don't do that but. well I do get very angry or upset about something. But that is off topic. So I just wanted to say this so you are aware that I am going to improve my acts.

I really do not like to get banned from things. I really don't so I do my best to improve on ways to prevent it. I hope.. I don't know what to explain further into this so this is the end of this post. I really wish I never had aspergers  it really does suck to have it. One part of me is in my head I think up common rules I have to follow or I punish myself severely if broken. So basically I am a rule freak. When I find I broke a rule on something. I tend to prevent myself from doing fun things.

that is odd i can not properly use the indent function (Button) it indents the whole thing.. well never mind that then.

EDIT:
brad i will take your advice instead of just punishing myself like this. You can close this topic and mods out there.
Because i am working on a project and i just had to post in the RCT3 section

Brad, I don't mean to pry and put my nose in business where it doesn't belong, nor do I mean to drag a thread off-topic, but I have to strongly disagree with you about one of your statements.

ADHD is a legitimate disorder. My sister, who is 18, was recently diagnosed, and there has been marked improvement in her academic life as well as her ability to discuss things in a coherent fashion, relate better with individuals, and have a general 'better grasp' on her concentration and ability to itemize and prioritize her daily activities. I'm a teacher, and I can tell you that you can spot a child with ADHD from miles away. There's a definitive difference between being hyper and having ADHD, as well as laziness and ADHD. I'll agree with you it's often over diagnosed, but to simply call it "a load of bull" is uninformed at best.

Aspergers is actually a disorder found on the autism spectrum, albeit on the very mild side of that spectrum. coaster3000 is accurate in his description, and I wouldn't dare doubt him, since he's the one with the disorder.

I fundamentally agree with you that these disorders are not enough to make it impossible to type coherently and abide by simple forum rules, but it does make it harder. Just my two cents. Thanks for reading.

I wouldn't necessarily "punish" yourself for having a disorder like that. You have to understand we deal with a lot of people on this site and sometimes we can overgeneralize our members, especially our younger flock.

We don't want to instill an unhealthy fear in you, we are just looking for people to follow the rules we've set. Yes, we're a stricter bunch than most fansites. But that is because this medium of pyro design and theatrical show design is a very meticulous, very specific, very design-oriented field that requires intense patience at times. Our forum is a direct extension of what we specialize in and we run it as professionally as we possibly can.

We want to be more lenient - we HATE being the bad guys here to crush everyone's fun, but we can't let up if our members don't step up. Just be calm and patient and you will fit in just fine.

You know a lot more than me, clearly, so I hold my hands up and say fair enough.

I have Aspergers and don't find it an explanation for non-substantial posts. I don't know about ADHD but it's a lame excuse. I'm sorry to say this but you have to come with a better one.

EDIT: You already stated that. I'm sorry.
