This poll is very important as the developer of this promising game will be looking to see the demand for the game, which will serve as motivation to develop it better and quicker.

Please only vote if you are SERIOUS about the game. Each vote in the price bracket is essentially a purchase of the game for that cost. The more money people are willing to pay, the more motivation for the developer to make the game and improve it.

Please add any comments here. :)

Seriously and honestly, I would purchase this program for 60-70 dollars - probably even more considering it reaches the status of the 'end-all program for pyrotechnic enthusiasts'. If I am the kind of demographic this game is geared towards, then expect a very slow but steady release of the program. If you are gearing this game to compete in the simulation market, you would have to significantly drop the price...and even then I don't think it would be able to seriously compete against something like...Cruise Ship Tycoon 2...or...TheSims 2 Ikea Home Furnishings set... If this game turns out to be what it promises, you are looking at a very loyal, but specialized market.

i can't yet decide how much i would pay for it. i first want to know if its worth my money and if it is worth how much exactly. Because i've never seen showsim 3d in action on my computer i can't decide. First something like a demo where i can get the feels and looks. After that i know how much I would spent on it. so I still haven't voted on it.

I really have no idea what to expect from it. The only thing that worries me though is making a set. Ow well we'll see that when there is an official version.

I would buy it.
I just hope the game version is easier to go around than the pro version, I had the demo sent by Kyle and I could never get it to work, it was really complicated.

...but a game with proper instructions and easier tools, and simpler interfaces could really be a winner.

I Voted for US$50 - US$60 but I wouldn`t mind paying more for it because showsim 3D is an extremely advanced tool that, for me, is timeless... Really, I`ve been using it for quite some time now and I can tell you that it`s such great program that its only limitation is your imagination... And, for telling the truth, I think it`s easier and more user friendly than RCT3, I don`t know if that`s because I got used to it, but from the moment I installed the Beta I was able to design a show, without even reading the user manual...

You guys won't be disappointed with ShowSim 3D, this I can assure you!

I voted around $50 - $60. As I don't have any experience with this type program, I can't accurately determine how useful the program will be. Perhaps when it is released, I will take a look. Thing is, I tried before I bought on most things. I tried AnyDVD and Alcohol 120% before I paid for lifetime subscriptions as they gave me really handy tools that I use now all the time.
Look forward to seeing more information on this "possible successor" to RCT3

i have voted for the 80$+, this software does really is a very good software that caters specifically for fireworks, i don't mind also paying up to 200$+ if the developer can add a little things that you would want rather than the basic package it offers with the regular price, like for example if i want to have this and this i can ask the developer to add that for an additional fee, this helps for those people like me that just needs some additional tools but does not necessarily need the whole commercial program...i hope the developer is kind enough to give this kind of request, i for sure will be loyal with showsim once this request materialize...good luck to all!

I would certainly buy showsim 3d but i'm not sure about the price, but i'm willing to pay whatever the cost will be.... If you buy showsim, it's gonna be a lifelong software that you'll have in which it allows you to experience designing pyromusical or firework shows like a real pyrotechnician. :D It's like buying a mini disneyland if you want to be an imagineer for example ;). I'm sure the community of the users of the program will be pretty much intact. Well a little advise though, for you to enjoy this program to its fullest you need to have a high degree of interest in designing fireworks shows. :D

and to add to vanderites, not only a high degree of interest is needed, you also need a passion and love for the trade of pyrotechnics...so having this software you can create those out of the box ideas of yours that is impossible to do in real life fireworks shows  .....

Well then, I think it's time for my voice to be heard about this program. I would personally love to have this game on my computer, but of course, money is a major issue at them moment. I wouldn't mind paying for this game, I honestly wouldn't. Then again, I don't have a paying job and my parents don't even know I visit this site. So overall, it would be worth no more than 20 bucks for this game... Depending on the features and quality and all that good stuff! :bye:

At this point and time pricing it a little lower would be the smartest way to attract new customers

I voted $80 +

I tried the trial "2d pro" version a couple of years ago and it was awsome. It was just way too much money for a "hobbiest" (1 or 2 "backyard" shows a year ) like me to purchase. It was very easy to work with and had a very short learning curve to get started. ( Much easier than RCT3.) Heck, I'd probably pay $80 for a 2d game version.

I looked at the site and saw all that it did. I think getting above 60 would be a little to pricey for the everyday joe, but somewhere between 40-50, maybe little over 50, would be best. very nice product though
