I never thought to post this, but thought I would get it up here now. The movie Cloverfield is simply amazing. I mean seriously amazing. It's my favourite film at the moment and comes to close to my favourite of all time. Yes, it's that good.

Really??? This movie was pretty sub-par in my opinion. Im a huge monster/sci-fi/scary movie fan, but this movie never scared me, never developed enough plot or characters to make me care about who lived or died, and the "shakey" cam approach to film making as been done, and really isn't novel enough to be used over and over (ala blair witch). This was at best a so/so movie in my opinion and didn't live up to any of the hype nor did it do anything exceptionally well to merit high marks.
