Lets here it, I know Football is EXTREMELY popular in the UK and is part of our national fabric - but what about you guys across the pond? Do you play football much? (Soccer is what you call it methinks...)

I used to play at school sometimes, or during PE but I got tired of being kicked by idiots that don't know how to identify a ball out of a group of people.

I never played nor watched it, Americans call it soccer, are "football" is very different from soccer... And it never is really on tv that much.

Soccer is common here, but it is not a big deal like it is in Europe. It is played quite a bit by youths and even adults, and we have a world cup team of course, but it never gets the attention that "Football" The NFL, Base Ball or Basketball does, Not even as much exposer as Hokey or Poker.

I still don't know how Poker got so popular... It's the last thing I would watch on TV.
